Abstract:In order to verify the phenomenon of microwave fluctuation impending earthquake and test the accuracy of its main features,real-time monitoring technology system was established based on waveform data recorded by more than 200 digital broad-band seismic stations of Gansu,Qinghai,Sichuan,Yunnan,Tibet and other regional digital seismic networks. The system examined reproducibility and objectivity of microwave fluctuation impending earthquake and verified spectrum,time,space,directionality and other features of the phenomenon through whole course real-time tracking and dynamic monitoring 24 earthquakes above MS5.0 observed in Qinghai-Tibetan Block between 2012 and 2014 and stations partially distributed in earthquake-free areas. We then made the conclusion that phenomenon of microwave fluctuation impending earthquake can be related to earthquake intensity. Moreover,the greater the magnitude,the more possibility of persistent micro-fluctuations before earthquake.
