Abstract:Seismic data constitutes the foundation of earthquake science and technology, and the security of its transmission is critical for rapid earthquake reporting and early warning. To meet the requirements for fast and secure transmission of seismic data, this paper proposes a new encrypted seismic data transmission system. The system introduces three "transparency" concepts: performance overhead transparency, system configuration transparency, and application transformation transparency. In addition, a high-performance packet-processing method implemented on general-purpose hardware is designed to ensure low-latency transmission of seismic data. The goal of the system is to guarantee the accurate and timely delivery of seismic information, which is crucial for mitigating earthquake disasters in the critical moments following an event.
