This study compiles and synthesizes global earthquake data for events of magnitude 5.0 and above released by the China Earthquake Networks Center(CENC)since 2022, and analyzes the characteristics of seismic activity and earthquake-related disaster features from July to September 2025. The Afghanistan M6.1 earthquake and the Philippines M6.9 earthquake are selected as representative seismic events of the quarter, and their tectonic settings and associated disaster information are examined to provide reference material for subsequent related studies.
