This paper provides a concise review of developments in the study of geochemical processes of seismic fluids, with particular emphasis on research progress over the past decade. The review is organized into three sections: (1) the role of fluids in earthquake preparation and occurrence; (2) the thermodynamic processes underlying fluid-geochemical precursors of earthquakes;(3) the kinetic mechanisms responsible for the formation of seismic-geochemical anomalies. Finally, potential directions for future research are outlined, aiming to elucidate the mechanisms of earthquake generation and the development of seismic-geochemical precursors, thereby enhancing earthquake monitoring and prediction capabilities.
