Study on the Release Characteristics of Soil Gas CO2 from Jinlongdingzi Volcano in Longgang Volcanic Area, Northeast China

    监测研究表明,龙岗火山区地震活动和地壳活动均处于较为活跃的状态,然而目前龙岗火山区的监测手段较为单一,尚未开展相关气体地球化学研究工作。本文针对龙岗火山群中的全新世火山——金龙顶子火山,开展火山土壤气体(CO2、CH4等)流动监测,探讨龙岗火山区的火山气体释放特征。研究结果表明,金龙顶子火山锥体土壤微渗漏气体组分CO2浓度均值范围0.06%~0.33%,CO2通量范围4.28~160.13g/(m2·d),通量平均值为53.33g/(m2·d),估算火山区每年释放CO2气体通量0.73×106t。火山温室气体释放以中低温地热为主,显示较为平静的火山活动状态。存在有Rn含量浓度值偏高的异常区域,推测区域底部有隐伏断裂的可能性。

    Abstract:

    Monitoring studies have shown that the Longgang volcanic area exhibits relatively high levels of seismicity and crustal activity. However, current monitoring approaches are limited, and gas geochemical surveys have not yet been conducted. This study focuses on the Jinlongdingzi volcano, a Holocene volcano within the Longgang volcanic field, by conducting soil gas surveys(CO2, CH4, etc.) to access volcanic degassing characteristics. The results indicate that the soil microseepage CO2 concentrations range from 0.06% to 0.33%, with CO2 flux values between 4.28 and 160.13g/(m2·d) (mean:53.33g/(m2·d). The estimated annual CO2 emission from the volcanic area is approximately 0.73×106 t. The release of volcanic greenhouse gases is primarily associated with moderate-to-low temperature geothermal activity, suggesting a relatively quiescent volcanic state. Furthermore, anomalous zones with elevated Rn concentrations were detected, possibly indicating underlying concealed faults.
