Based on global earthquake data of magnitude 5.0 and above released by the China Earthquake Networks Center(CENC) since 2022, this study conducts a multidimensional statistical analysis on a quarterly basis. Particular attention is given to earthquake events in the second quarter of 2025(April-June), especially those resulting in casualties and property losses. Through disaster data mining and case analysis, the study explores the characteristics of seismic activity with the aim of enhancing public awareness and strengthening disaster prevention and mitigation efforts.
