| The paper reviews the current situation of categories and codes for earthquake information at home and points out that the research on categories and codes system for earthquake information should be enhanced. The priority should be given to basic categories and codes for earthquake information. Beside the basic principles, the information classification should also pay sufficient attention to the characteristics of information itself. |
